Does it cost anything to publish an ad?: Nope. publication in Tet is completely free
How many ads may I post?: Currently, as many as you'd like, as long as they are genuine and confirm to the site rules. In the future, we may be limiting the amount of ads that a user can publish in a given time
Why aren't there any banners?: The site aims to cleanly deliver content that's requested. Banners are just a distraction and get in the way.
Is publication free for traders and middlemen and other entrepreneurs?: It is so.
Why does the site look simple, without graphics, animation or video?: We aim to bring maximum functionality, comfort and maximum speed. We feel that keeping the layout simple helps achieve this cause.
How do I publish an ad on Tet?: By clicking 'publish an ad', you go through a simple registration and publish an ad in any category. It's straightforward!
I've encountered an ad that's untruthful or somehow inappropriate. What can I do?: In the bottom part of an ad screen, there's a link to report inappropriate ads. Use it!
Who determines the order in which ads appear on the category pages?: The ads appear chronologically. The latest published ad will appear first on the list, with no way of manually altering the order of appearance. Our goal is relevance and making the playing field equal.
How can I stop an ad from being viewed? How can I erase it permanently? Is there a way to change details in a published ad?: After login, go to My Account. There, you will be able to manage your existing ads.
You're missing a category! How should I suggest it to you?: When publishing a new ad, there's a '+' next to every attribute. Click on it, and you'll be prompted by a text box to enter a suggestion.
Why are there so many mandatory fields when posting an ad?: Filling the fields takes just a few seconds. With this data, we can allow other users to efficiently search through ads, and deliver very specific and quality content.
How can I save searches and be notified when an ad has been posted that matches what I'm looking for?: In every category page, you can open an ads filter 'widget'. Using it, you can be very specific about what you're looking for. By clicking 'save search', it gets saved, for easy access later on. After you've saved a search, you can receive E-Mail alerts about new ads published that match its criteria. E-Mail alerts are configured in the 'My Account' section
Why is the site multilingual?: We want our non-hebrew speaking users to be comfortable using Tet in their language of choice. Additionally, when creating an ad, you can create additional descriptions for it in other languages, that would appear to users who chose to view ads in these languages. Setting the viewing languages is done in the 'My Account' pages
How can I get additional details about the publisher of an ad?: At the bottom of each ad there is a section that gives some info on a publisher. There you can also access a publisher's "profile", which might contain a picture, a self description, and a listing of his active ads.
How can I tell how many 'views' an ad received?: There is a hit counter in the bottom of an ad page.
How can I change my password?: Through the 'My Account' page.
What is your relation to Facebook?: We've developed a Tet Facebook application. When you add it to your account, your ads & searches will appear on your Facebook page. You will be able to see what your friends have posted & searched on Tet. Additionally, Tet can cross-post your ads to the Facebook Marketplace, giving your ads a greater exposure!
What's in the Tet blog?: By checking the blog occasionally, you can get up to date on what's happeing behind the scenes of Tet. We'll post news, planned and implemented new features, statistics and amusing things that anyone might submit. Stay tuned!
